Dragon Group Ltd. For further development Ruyan took over the project in 2004. Then Ruyan bought the SBT Co. then it was named SBT RUYAN Technology and Development Co. Ltd in May of 2004. China
purchased the first cigarette from them. Within the three years of production this company earned a huge amount of money selling electronic smokeless cigarettes.
The Food and Drug Administration known as FDA of America has declared electronic cigarette a drug delivery device which is approved to sale under the FDCA. The rule was turned off by a federal
judge on January 2010 but it was passed again on March 2010. Also there were other companies on the way of emerging their business online. The power of taking any actions on the product of
e-cigarettes is in the hand of FDA. FDA argued about their rights to manufacture electronic cigarette as they already marketed products like nicotine gum and other nicotine patches. So they were
released to produce electronic cigarettes. The states have also begun to think about banning all kind of tobacco sales. Arnold Schwarzenegger the governor of California has stated that the sale
of electronic cigarette will be restricted but any adult people can buy and consume an electronic cigarette understanding the health issues at their own risk.
In Europe the product of e-cigarettes was first brought in April 2006 which was officially launched by RUYAN. They took part in a conference which was held in Austria. Then the product was
marketed in Europe as well as in UK in 2007. Media was able to draw the attention of the customers when Reuters gave a brief report on RUYAN after visiting them in Beijing. In October 2009 Matt
Salmon president of Electronic Cigarette Association gave an estimation of 300,000 users of electronic cigarette all around the world, based on a survey. But he claimed that the actual number of
the consumers can be more than the predicted number.
Now a day electronic cigarette is available in almost every country. It is free of the hazardous health risks as well as smokeless cigarettes causes no harm to nonsmokers as it is odorless and
smokeless. Smokeless cigarettes do not give the horrible yellow strains in teeth, clothing etc. In electronic cigarettes combustion takes place internally so there is no problem of ashes. Day by
day the popularity of electronic cigarettes is increasing enormously. It has opened a door in the business of tobacco and it is a vast moneymaking project. The future of electronic cigarette is
shiny as people are being interested in it rather than ordinary cigarettes.
